This film was created for my final culminating activity in my Media Arts class. I had to take the theme "Me, Myself, an Eye" and create an artwork that I think expresses the theme. This is what I came up with.

EDIT: I realize that this video may be a bit confusing for some. I was hoping to include more scenes that would explain it more, but I ran out of time.

EDIT 2: This video got me an A+ in my class.

Quite interesting...I was about to put the movie down 1 minute into it but something...have no idea kept me into it. A ''lesson'' is built well into the movie and soda quiet atmosphere was used very well. The animation could use a little help and the light flicker but this is easily fixed. I didn't really understand the story as well though.

I should have mentioned that the light flicker was due to me using a digital camera. The animation wasn't my best because this video was made in a rush for school. The entire project was made in 2 and a half weeks, with the animation being completed in one week. I was also moving that week, so it was all just chaotic.

I am hoping to get a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 this summer, so that will hopefully get rid of the light flicker.

As for the plot, I am a bit confused as to what you thought of it. You understood the "lesson", but you didn't understand the plot?

That's what the machine that he entered did. It allowed him to see important parts of his life that gave him inspiration. Was that not very clear. Sorry of it wasn't! mini/sad

Yes! This was a Media Art course, which includes painting, so I wanted to make a film that had a message relating to art and painting.
