Well, the title of this thread says it all. Basically, whenever I chroma key with a green or blue screen, there is always an outline of that color around the character/set/props (Wether the screen is in or out of focus). Does anyone know how to fix this? Also, if this helps, there is no spill around the minifigure, ans the entire screen is evenly lit.
There's something called spill supression that fixes this, it should be in some kind of editing program. Check whatever program you chroma key with to see if it's there.

Spill supression only fixes the color of the screen that spilled (reflected) onto the minfig, or whatever is in the shot. What I want to get rid of is an outer rim of the screen color around the objects that aren't being keyed.
Hm, all I knew that spill supression fixes the green edge around objects. Have you tried to fix it with spill suppresion? If that doesn't work, then you could be using a low-quality camera or keying software. If a else fails, just use a real background.
Yes, I have tried to fix it with spill supression, but it does not remove the outline around the non-keyed objects (It does make it so that it fits in better with the scene, though). And I'm (or we're) using a C910 and filming in 1080p HD. The keying software is right now varied (Blender, Axogon Composer, CineGobs Keyer, or even Wax).
Keylight (free with ae) has really good inbuilt edge colour correction.
Could we see a picture of the footage you are trying to chroma key with?
What software do you use?
I've been fooling around with Cinegobs for some time andthere are à lot of other parameters you can Play with....

I'll try to do some doodling with Cinegobs to give you some hints.
