Re: In the Sea of Fecundity

Interesting sci-fi documentary. When the photographs after the lunar map first appeared I was caught a little off guard but then after hearing the narration I enjoyed how the pictures along with the idea of extraterrestrial colonisation allows for audience imagination to think up new ideas and concepts.

What did you use for the lunar photos? Sand, salt,..?

Flour.

Re: In the Sea of Fecundity

It's an interesting video. I found the writing to be compelling, but I found myself wishing that it was presented via text, rather than as voice-over and images.
It was difficult for me to absorb what all was being said effectively through the audio, in part due to the technical limitations and the somewhat flat vocal delivery. Additionally, I didn't feel that the images presented really strengthened the narrative being presented through the audio.
Perhaps I'm just a dunderhead, but it just didn't seem terribly suited for the format of video to me.

I may continue working on it; I agree that it still doesn't have a cohesive flow yet. The relative discrepancy between narration and imagery is intentional, however.
