Topic: Special Effects Challenge: Green Screening

Hello everyone and welcome to the Special Effects Chalenge's: Green Screening challenge!

Participants are asked to create a scene from a movie or just from your imagination, using green screen in some way.

Rules

-Must be 99% stop motion animation (1% due to the green screening).

-No swearing and no sexual themes please!

-Can be copyrighted material

-Animation should be 1 minute at most

Deadline

-The deadline for this compotition is June 21'st 2011 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time.

Im sorry but please stop making contests... First off you are kind of new to BiM and second not that many people are going to enter this... especially with no prizes.

Don't want to rain on your parade or anything, but I recall we already had a greenscreening challenge, in this very subforum, quite some time ago. Couldn't you just bump that? In essence it's quite similar to your proposed contest.

It started off well for quite some time, but then it lost its momentum and fell into shambles. And that's when it was well planned out already, and had received lots of positive feedback. Yours on the other hand seems like something you just threw together on a whim, just because you felt like hosting a contest.

And nitpicking on the rules a bit, if there's greenscreening, just using an educated guess, that might very well take up more than 1% of the movie. And that's not even allowing for any CGI or digital creativity. And if the animation should be one minute at the most, I think over an entire month to make the entry is a bit on the lengthy side.

Firstly before I start saying anything, I have thought about making a contest/challenge on here before, and I thought I against it. Which I thought was wise.


I think it's starting to be a little bit crazy here. I know that most people want to make contests and challenges. But use the search button before doing so. Some challenge ideas have been used before and some people who know this site well like BGanimations will remember similar ones.
