Topic: Frame capturing using Nikon D70 on monkeyjam

After a long time of not doing any brickfilms, I've started working on some again. I noticed that Monkeyjam has a "capture" tool, but it only has options for a scanner or video camera. So my question is, to do frame capturing using my Nikon D70, do I use the video or scanner option, and if I use the video option, will it work to plug in my camera using the USB port, or do I have to use the video output port? I'd test it myself to find out, but since I don't have a USB cord long enough to do it, or any of the cables used by the video output thing, I can't test it without having to buy both cords, which might be a tad expensive (especially for the USB one to get one sufficiently long from what I've heard). Thanks.

If your camera is a digital camera or whatever, it won't work with frame capture programs, correct me if I'm wrong. You need a webcam or camcorder. mini/blankexpression

The D70 is a DSLR, DW. Not all DSLR models are as easy to use for stop motion as the more recent ones.

DSLRs don't work with Monkeyjam. You can probably find a program that works with it though. But you may have to pay.
