Topic: iStopmotion or MonkeyJam?

Hello!
So I need few suggestions about iStopmotion. You see, so far I've been using Windows but my computer is like on the lowest level (that means terrible and very slow), so at the end of April 2011, I'm going to buy Mac.
But the thing is, that I see a lot of animators using iStopmotion and some of them got really good animation! Like Sean, Keshen or Hazzat. But what I'm scared of, is that as a beginner, I will not be much good with it. So I don't know if I should still use MonkeyJam, or I should try out iStopmotion.
So please please PLEASE!
HELP ME OUT!! I would just like to know what most of you would suggest.

i use istopmotion
its okay for what it is
no advanced features unless u pay 500 dollras for the Po version
if you want something that will take your hobby seriuosly check out Dragon

I use istopmotion too mini/tongue
and i find it easy to use.

Istopmotion is very easy to use! Just make sure you have a compatible camera first before you buy it. I would recommend buying the express version too. mini/bigsmile

Speaking of compatible cameras, what good quality cameras can work with it?  I'm thinking of getting iStopmotion 2.

Well I don't actually know but I use Logitech Webcam Pro 9000, and I think that's enough for it...

I thought the LWCP9000 for Mac was bad?  Poor quality I hear.

Yes, do not use any of the Logitech Webcams in Istopmotion.

Get iStopMotion!!!!! Its great! If you've heard of Brickfilmers like Fancy Pants or FilmyGuy1 they use it:).....

I'm working on getting my studio back up and running, so stay posted...

If you want... Use SAM Animation... if you get the free trial... ITS GREAT IMO!

Were calling it the 'LWCP9000' now?
Anyhow, don't bother with dragon, unless you have $300 burning a hole in your pocket.
MonkeyJam is free and the output quality is great with the '9000.

I use Istopmotion and monkeyjam, I find that monkeyjam is a more compattible program, but if you have a compattible camera Istopmotion is by far more professional mini/smile
