Topic: MAJOR Problem

I'm going to just cut to the chase, the mounting socket in my camera to stand on a tripod has stripped, I have NO clue what to do, does this means the camera is no good for tripods anymore? if so any other alternatives for mounting cameras to brick film? any fixes, or shops online that can fix this? Please help!

Re: MAJOR Problem

I can't help with the fixing the tripod problem, but what camera do you have? Making a LEGO cage for the camera could be a possible solution.

kcirb-- its brick backwards.

Re: MAJOR Problem

The same thing happened to me with my old camera. I happened to have something else wrong with it that the warranty covered and the company replace it with a metal one(which they didn't have to). Before I got it fixed one company said that in order to fix it they would have to replace the whole outer covering! You are probably tightening the tripod to much or screwing it on at a wrong angle instead of straight.
