My dad told me that for christmas along with my other gifts hed get me a webcam Is this one good?

Yeah stud, BUT! it isn't great for animation
I use it and most decent animators, don't buy that other crap.

It clps onto my tripod well and the picture is so sharp, you can read the lego logo off the brick.

The Logitech QC 9000 is easily the best webcam for brickfilming. If you want the best, the 9000 is the way to go.

Yeah get the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000. I have it and I think its great.

Guys, there's more in the world than the 9000. Just because the 9000 is an excellent choice for brickfilming (and it really is, no doubt), doesn't mean it's either the best or the only choice. I'm disappointed in the sheeplish blindness of all of you.
Having said that, on the Logitech website the technical specifications of the C600 clearly state it has fixed focus which renders the webcam pretty much useless for brickfilming.
