Well I won't be allowed to play most rated M games, and all the games I like are rated T and E anyway. I'll probably get Bad Company and/or the first Spyro game when we buy the PS3.
You should look into Halo, it's a pretty good game. If your parents would allow you to play Bad Company, I'm sure Halo would be tolerable. In fact, the language is worse in Bad Company, and Halo most likely has less violence. Not to mention that in Halo you kill aliens, and in Bad Company you kill humans. Plus, Master Chief is much more heroic than the selfish band of troops you play in Bad Company.

Yeah I know. That's why I said 'most', because I was pretty sure that they would let me play Halo. And actually, they haven't said 'yes' to Bad Company either. I'm trying to find out if there is any way to censor the language, other than turning off the dialogue, which would ruin the fun.
The language isn't HORRIBLE, but sh** is used quite often.

Ehh, not exactly. The PS3 gets something called the yellow light of death or something along those lines. I know a few guys who got it and had to buy new PS3s.
Only the early 60GB PS3s that you can't buy anymore got the YLOD.
Anyone heard of the upcoming Dysney game, Epic Mikey? This is not as childish as it sounds. The game is actuly quite dark, and is being made to get rid of the 'squeaky clean' image of mikey.

Just completed Modern Warfare 2 for the Xbox 360 within three days (because I'm lazy and I had college, lol) and I can say that the "story" was OK, but it was just that tad bit ridiculous and it was quite easy on Veteran to be honest, lol. I'm going to be getting the Hardened Edition for the PS3 so I'll be able to play it online and see how epic that is.

There aren't even dedicated servers for CoD6! That's what I'm calling cheap, for a €60 game. 
Damn, 2010 is gonna be yet a sequel year.
