If you're a student and have a student ID you can probably get a discount for half off.
Or, if you get an earlier version off of amazon.com/ebay.com (or another one of those sites)
Umm... had you tried Adobe's website? You just need to find yourself a college student to make the actual purchase. Heck, you can get Production Premium CS4 (Premiere, After Effects, Encore, Photoshop, and a bunch of other programs you probably won't use much) for under $400.
But before you spend that kind of money on software, think long and hard about whether you'll be able to put in the time to get any use out of it. Are you going to be using it enough to warrant such a purchase? Are you willing to put in the time needed to overcome AE's steep learning curve? Are you even going to be making films two years from now?
I LOVE YOU NOODLE! Not really, I'm just excited.
But one thing: I am a junior high student (8th grade), so could I get the discount, or would I have to be in College or have someone in College buy it?
And yes, I'm up to the learning curve (I've learned BLENDER, EFFICIENTLY), and I am definately going to be making films two years from now. And yes, I will be using it enough.
Edit: Oops, sorry, looked at the details and you have to be in college.
Just ask a college student to buy it, than give them your MONEYZ.
Your mom goes to college
actually my mom does go to college
You don't have any cousins or friends in uni at all?
Uno problemo: I don't know any college students right now.
Make some "Friends!"

I just went and looked again, and while the Production Premium package is considerably more expensive if you're not in college, After Effects alone is $349 no matter what level of school you're in.
