Topic: Lego Stop Animation Studio- Any opinions?

Hi everyone,

I was at Toy's r us the other day checking out the new lego sets, and I noticed this new product from Lego (Lego Stop Animation Studio) sitting on the shelves mini/smile . I'm really interested in this, thinking it might help some of my friends who aren't using top notch systems to animate. However, I'm also wary because if lego hasn't improved on their last animation program (Lego Studios) I won't be impressed. mini/madhead
I haven't been able to find much about it online, so I was wondering if someone could tell me what it's like, and their opinion of it.

Thanks!

Is this what you saw? http://www.hardwaresphere.com/2009/11/1 … on-camera/

I assume you're talking about this?

It looks OK, if a little pricey. Still, it's probably much cheaper than going the whole hog and getting everything you need individually.

If they're interested, this looks like a good start point if they're willing to fork out the cash...

Yeah, you guys both found it. I agree with what you're saying hazzat, and for my freind it's probably the cheapest way he is going to get a camcorder and take pictures via a computer so he is not bumping the camera all the time.

try a quickcam pro 9000, you can get it for only $66.99 at B&H Photo/Video (it's normally about $100)
