Wow, way to go, Filmyguy! Are you going to?

Well maybe, now that I know I'm eligible. I need to ask people who are partners first before I do it though.
Yeah, I've actually had that a couple times Filmyguy, but I've said maybe later both times because the first time I did go into the signing up part, and on one of the pages it clearly states that there should be absolutely no copyright material in the video. So seeing as you've got Thriller in there, I would be careful. I don't know how good youtube is at shutting that kind of stuff down, but I've always rather been safe than sorry.

Yeah I know what you mean, I saw that too, it scared me. But I know that people have gotten around it, Keshen8 has a lot of copyrighted stuff. I'm going to be asking him about it soon.
69 pages olol.
Anyway, Filmyguy, you won't be able to earn any money, considering it contains copyright material. And if you DO submit it for revenue sharing, and it ISN'T suitable, they'll delete. I wouldn't take the risk.
But what about the 'Fair Use' policy? I know Nathan Wells uses this for copyrighted content (not sure if he gets paid for it though)

You can't make a profit with fair use.
But are allowed to use it. You'll see that some of LoTLs older films (IE Alex and Derrick) will not have ads.

Can filmyguy receive money from only that one video?
God its not a quiz guys, unless you own everything in the video, you can't make money off it.
Which is why most of my earlier stuff can't be used, simply because my opening titles have copyrighted music in for 4 seconds ![]()
My "The Dark Knight Spot 12" is nearing 100'000 views! ![]()
Filmyguy, when you're a partner, it's not the case that all your videos get adverts on - you submit them for sharing with a form that looks like this:
So the simple answer is don't submit videos that aren't copyright-free. Applying for partnership is OK.
So wait, after I sign up I just can't put up anymore videos with copyrighted music, movie clips, etc.
Or if do I have copyrighted stuff in the video I'm uploading, I just say 'no' to everything in the form and hope for the best? Forgive me, I'm not too bright. ![]()
EDIT: Also, I don't really care about making money I just want the promotion.
