so I got helium frog and I get the message at the screen "Please install a directx compatible source device and make sure it's switched on" well I connect my avchd camcorder and nothing happens and you can't go to a different screen on helium frog and there is no tutorials! Please help

.well that's the problem.
It's the driver who does most of the game graphics and other visuals on your screen, and apperantly, you didn't update it (mine gets updated every time because I play alot of games). So I suggest to search for DirectX 9 update (yes, there's 10 and 11, but 9 is the most common) on the internet. And no, I don't have a frikkin' link, google will help ya.
so I just got monkey jam and got it at 24 fps one problem how do I add in audio if every frame is less than 1 second? help!

You go to import> audio It doesnt matter if every frame is less than 1 second, because the sound will drag its self out across the frames.

Helium Frog can work only with direct x devices. It does not need Direct X installed to work as it has all the necessary files embedded in the software.
However it does require your device to have installed a direct x driver for that particular device. You cannot expect to connect any old camera or camcorder and expect software to recognise it.
As a rule of thumb if your device can be used in webcam mode (ie can stream live video via a usb port) it will work with helium frog. Most cameras do have a usb port, but the camera is only recognised as a hard drive to enable file transfer, not streaming video. Camcorders are often connected to a video capture card to input video or to a firewire card / port. The port or card is recognised as a windows device and will work.

do you mean you have the audio set up in elements and you want to import it to Monkeyjam?
no I mean I have my pictures and I insert them into adobe premeire elemnts 7 and I oh nvm no one can help

If you have Monkeyjam. You should probably export your images as a AVI, before putting them in your editing software.
Import your images into monkeyjam, export them as an AVI. Then put the AVI into adobe premiere.
