Revolutionary Road

Intense. Incredible acting by everyone.
Also another profound movie, I wasn't really crazy about the story though.
Cinematography 4/5

Overall 3/5

You know, you're kind of missing the point if you rate cinematography separately.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Shoot 'Em Up

Far and away the most ridiculously over-the-top movie I've ever seen. If you take it for what it is, you will certainly get a kick out of it.

Nice idea, but the movie stays far behind its possibilities.

"actuallly this involves spiderman too, not batman. but im also taking a new approach, more comedy, less action. i dont see to many movies like that with more comedy than action" --SteveStarfyTV on an Indiana Jones meets Star Wars idea.

What a great film, Even if it's a little old.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Patriot
Never actually saw the whole thing before. I was quite pleased with the acting, direction, and cinematography, though towards then end it got a little old seeing Mel Gibson running around with a flag. Don't get me wrong, I've a very patriotic American, but as with Christmas songs I can only take so much of it.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Le Mépris by Jean-Luc Godard

One of Godard's more famous films, but not one of my favourites. I didn't think it was bad, but it wasn't mindblowing either. Brigitte Bardot was good though and it took me by surprise that Fritz Lang has a large part in this movie rather than a cameo.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Star Trek (2009)

I went into this film as a not-Star Trek fan, and I loved it, as a movie. Everything just seemed right. The music, scenes, pacing, characters, acting, CGI and space look. It was also shot really well. The story was good and as James Rolf said, weird as any other Star Trek movie mini/smile
I'm definatly gonna see this film again.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Assasination of Jesse James & 2012

Oh jeez, hard to say which one was the best.

EDIT: probably not very clear I was being sarcastic. 2012 was awful, while The Assasination of Jesse James is one of the best films I've seen.
