Re: YouTube

Making something topical generally works. My LEGO house build documentary has had several spikes in views (when the house was finished, when it got torn down and recently now the series had started airing). Lots of people will be searching for it.

Helps if it's good, though. Then people will spread it around.

Re: YouTube

Wait until something like a school project comes up that sounds perfect for an animation, make it, amazingly, and then everyone will be like 'Z0mGZ0rZ... wher r stringz?' Then everyone in your school will either be really amazed and watch a load of your vids, or they will think you're queer. Bit of a risk, but y'know (Unless your school already knows about it)

And maybe, have some luck like J.T Productions and get it up high mini/tongue

How can I get myself noticed?
It's quiet annoying. mini/sad

Put robert pattinson in the tabs.

Re: YouTube

If you guys are really into brickfilming, and would like more views, you might want to try creating a good website. Websites are more professional than YouTube too, so people wanting to use a film of yours are more apt to contact you about it. I've actually made 2 business deals from this, in Europe, and in Australia.
Plus, websites are pretty cool when you make it yourself. mini/wink

Re: YouTube

Actually NXT, that only works if people know about your website, and one of the only ways they would know that is by seeing the link on your youtube channel.

NOT TRUE! You could make a fantabular promotion video on youtube about your website. mini/tongue

Re: YouTube

Well, that still involves youtube popularity, and that is what he is trying to find.

Re: YouTube

I'm not trying to find that, I'm saying that to help people find that.
And based (again) on experience, developing a network of site links works well. For example, my site has been linked on TBB, The NXT Step, BiM, Eurobricks, Brickfilms, The Lego News etc. Each one of these has added an increase to site activity, which results in higher traffic, which results in higher search rankings, which in turn results in higher visitor stats.
YouTube isn't the center of the Internet. You don't need to build a community through YouTube, nor do you have to build a site off of YouTube.
Basically, by linking your site to other popular websites, and getting linked by them, you can increase viewing activity. 15000+ views from 6 continents on nxtmaniacstudios.com can't be wrong. mini/wink

lul.

Oh yes, 2,900 more views until 100,000. Yippee.

Re: YouTube

Thanks for the help guys.
I will take in all the information you have given me.
I just think that my channel is so quite.
The videos are tipping up 1-2 views a day.
Theres some people with terrible videos and are getting lots of views and attention.
It just seems plain unfair.

Re: YouTube

Wow. I only have 30 subscribers.
