Topic: Lighting Help

Can someone help me with lighting of a set. I need to know what kind of bulbs to use and the wattage. And if you know anything else to help me with lighting that would be great!

Re: Lighting Help

You could use daylight bulbs. I don't have any that work with my lamps. Daylight bulbs are less of a glare on your set. If you can't get daylights tape paper over your lamps.

Used to be 'Caidence'

Re: Lighting Help

Okay Brickfilming is a tricky one, because if you are in a room with a natural light like the sun, you will get light flicker. To solve this try to wear black clothes NO whites, and film at night time. Hope this helps mini/smile

Re: Lighting Help

A lot of people use Halogen lamps, as they are bright and common and compact. They're meant to produce a bright white light, but mine always make a yellowy one mini/sad . Clip baking paper over the light to dull it and diffuse it, and beware, they get very hot.
You could also use fluorescent lamps, but be careful since the light can change brightness over time. I used a combination of fluorescent and halogen light for Dracula, and fluorescent by itself for Boost Juice.

Re: Lighting Help

I use a wire coat hanger to support my diffusion paper. My dad worries that the house will burn.
