Re: What was the last movie you watched?
I honestly don't like Citizen Kane that much. It definitely is accomplished from a technical/directing standpoint, but the story seems rather hollow to me.

Where The Wild Things Are
Loved the natural feel to it, it was fantastic. I also loved the acting, that kid was REALLY good ![]()
5/5
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Just as fantastic as ever.
Cidade de Deus (City of God)
Holy wow, this film is amazing. At times disturbing and brutal, but nonetheless amazing. It fully immerses you so that you feel as though you're a part of the action, thanks in part to its dazzling cinematography and colorful collection of characters.
A Perfect Getaway
I was underwhelmed. It held my attention, but I felt the abrupt shift in characterization, while justified by the story, to be lacking.
This is the type of movie, I think, that gives plot twists a bad name.

Absoloutey lovey, and amazing, you can tell Tim Burton hd a huge part in this, not just his name slapped on a fim.

Tim Burton had a quite small part in this, and even if it was him I didn't think it was his best ![]()
Klay World: Of The Table.
That movie is fuuuuuny. ![]()

One of the Greatest films, of all time....
Are you guys kidding? I mean, it had spectacle, but with it came pathetic dialog, unbelievably cheesy sequences, seriously sad pseudo-science, and mixed-up political and religious messages.

Third times the charm. Three times in a row. ![]()
Happy Feet
I still loathe this movie, and I always will.
Regarding Henry
This movie was the second movie that I ever watched that wasn't an action fantasy or something, the first being Forrest Gump, a real classic. I like this movie a lot, hilarious at parts and serious and thought provoking at others.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (Extended Edition)
This is the first time I've ever seen the extended edition. I liked a lot of the unused footage, though I can definitely agree with the way the theatrical version was edited. Some of the clips threw off the film's pacing or didn't fit thematically with the rest of it.

The Duchess
... Fantastic...
So I married an axe murder
I have watched it before
This time a round I understood the plot and all the mini conversations that contributed to the overall story
It was hilarious at times and spooky at others
The cast played their parts nicely and the movie ended nicely
4/5 Satrs

The story isn't well put together, but the technical shots were pretty spectacular. I watched it again last night, seeing if I would understand it a bit more, not a whole lot. I guess I'll never get the plot fully.
