I'm missing something here, how does a countries wealth mean that youtube will benefit by having partnerships available there?

But we are important when it comes to entertainment.
I think YouTube is more or less broken now with all of the pointless updates we've been force-fed with recently, especially the Beta channels which have the most queer layouts ever and with the so many errors that you can get from just letting a video load on YouTube.
