Topic: Good lego sets for a beginner.

Hey, I'm new here, and have been animation for about a month. I have a few lego sets, but not very many, and I am wondering what sets are good for beginners.

Thanks mini/smile

When life gives you lemons, you make orange juice. WAIT, WHAT?!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?

Re: Good lego sets for a beginner.

Errm, it depends on what kind of movie you want to make... . I for instance write a script and then look what sets I have or am able to build and what kind of things/sets I need.
If you have absolutely nothing, I suggest buying some civilian cars, minifigs and regular buildings. Like a house or a town hall.
But like I said: Just write a script and then look what you need.

Re: Good lego sets for a beginner.

Ok, one more question. How would I write a good script? I've made movies before, but I've always kinda winged it. mini/lol Any help is greatly appreciated.

All your questions will be answered here.

As far as scriptwriting goes, I can't recommend enough the work of Syd Field; namely these two books. They've been absolutely invaluable to me in the writing I've done.
