Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

More graves and a larger baseplate would really add to the depth of the set and would let you have more interesting camera angles.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Make more walls, so that you can have more than just a few camera angles that are pretty much from the same view, so that there is a variety of shots, amking it much more intresting.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

No skeletons, Watch Spoilerz, by Nathan Wells and focus on the Graveyard scene. mini/smile

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Well, there could be skeletons, just put them in the graves where they belong!

Set for an upcoming film.

I do not care about your opinion, unless it has to do with it needing more ponies.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

@Hazzat: It's not a real baseplate, to put the hole in the ground I had to evlevate the set and as we all know lego baseplates can't have bricks stuck to the bottom of them

and I don't have many green bricks so thats why the set  is so small.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Peanut: Good looking, but add some details and a but more of a dark feel if you know what I mean by that.
Go to the Brothers-Brick and see what the do. mini/smile

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

The yellow wall should have windows

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

@Peanut: To be quite honest, it's quite dull, boring, and unorigional. It also needs either more variety of colors or more mellow colors, instead of ones that are suppose to pop out at you but don't. It didn't have very much detail, and it looks dreary, and that dosen't fit the mood the colors give at all.

Sorry to sound so mean and negative, but there's really no other way to put it. Mabye you could use my (extremely harsh) advice as constructive critisizm.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

taller buildings? yes, it looks a lot better now. Not only because of the 'Life' added to it, but also because we can now see it at the level the final product is going to be at. maybe it's the black background, but it looks like it's a happy sunny world with dark clouds in a world that should be made with brown, gray, and black. making the buildings taller to block out the black, or making a different backdrop would improve it a bit i think. but over all, very creative set!

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Wow, that was WAY better Peanut! It looks more lively, but it would look a tad nicer if you used a few blue bricks in the mix. Keep it up!
