Well, I can't say I'm sorry that he's banned, but he did have it coming, trying to insult almost everyone on almost every topic, on his first day too. (mabye second, I'm not sure)

This guy is on similar lines to me but bats for the Mac team.
And just what the hell is that supposed to mean?
And we weren't even close to an argument until you showed up saying "PC pwns end of" and double posting. Also, the nature of OS fanboys should not even come into a hardware recommendation topic - it's like asking whether an Audi is a good car and the answer being that they're mostly driven by jerks.
PS: I suggest you learn how to construct an argument properly. Yours is currently very, very poorly thought out.

I said on the same lines as you were saying about it depending on the user of the machine, batting for the Mac side merely stated that you preferred the Mac side. Batting for the other team doesn't automatically question someone's sexuality.
"PC pwns end of", erm I said the machine. The pure components. The PC does pwn the Mac's components which is precisely what the Macintosh owner stated at a conference. They then decided to use the components originally designed for the PC. Mac's would have been completely flushed out the toilet without them.
It was a very good move on Macintosh's part. I'd have done the same.
Mac's are a brand. That's the difference. Everyone I know goes on about the styling, which is fair enough I suppose, but the thing that has caused the PC's success is that it is so versatile. So many manufacturers make them nowadays and they are getting far more powerful then anyone could have imagined ten years ago.
The thing is, there are so many arguments about PCs vs Mac's but they are pretty much completely different things.
Mac's, or at least the newer MACHINES are just PCs. Previously they were like PC's but not as good.
The SOFTWARE side's of things, that is a whole new ball game. Macintosh's operating system vs Windows, it all comes down to the user.
The reason why IMO the PC's machine is better then the Mac's and that doesn't come down to the user is because you can by a new PC and leave it alone. Just as you would a Mac. However, you can consistently upgrade a PC, that you cannot a Mac.
Going back to the software, Linux pwns the both of them, Windows' and Macintosh's OS. Linux will run on both, your DVD player, your TV, even some Microwave ovens, watches, mobiles the lot.
(Oh and mods, I think you got the wrong end of the stick. I have NEVER signed up to this site before, let alone spammed it. I have read your rules and I have broken none.)
Edit: It appears his claim might be legitimate; after reviewing the IPs again it looks like banning him might have been an error. I apologize for the confusion, it gets really confusing trying to keep tabs on all the past spammers on the site.
Still though, please don't create a new account and bypass a ban if you feel we've made a mistake.
Just another note - iMacs are basically built from laptop guts. So For roughly the same amount you could get a laptop with a fancy screen (iMac) or a beast of a PC that surpasses that iMac by far (hardware wise at least - the OS is always being debated about).
