Topic: Close ups with the Quickcam Pro 900?

For some reason, I can't get good quality close-ups I want with the 9000. I'm using 800x450.  Could anybody help?

EDIT: Squash said I should also mention I use Windows Vista.

Well, the reason is that, depending on how close up you are, it won't have a small enough DOF (depth of field) to focus. My reccomendation is putting the MF to the lowest setting, putting your subject in focus of it, than zoom in, that's all you can really do, I think.  But, if it's not because you put it to close and the MF couldn't focus, than, I am really not sure. Contact Customer Support?

Thanks magicoglego. I sortof figured it out through trial and error. I think that's how I finally got mine.  Thanks and this will definitely help me from now on.
