Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

Hey, I recognize Battlefield 2! So that's what my friends were playing on their computer that was so much fun. Maybe I'll get that. What's better, that or Mercenaries 2, besides that M2 is 3rd person? I am not sure what all is in M2.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

I played Mercenaries 2, It's very fun and it has no blood, you can drive around in awesome cars and for you this is a big plus. If you harm any civilians. you lose money.

I bought CoD WaW for Wii because I convinced my parents that if you turn on the filter in the game, I turns off most swearing and all gore. So with the filter turned on, it's defenatly a T rating.

Don't be fooled, my avatar is a facade of conformity.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

I played the demo for Mercenaries 2, and it was fun. I was just wondering if the full game had inappropriate content.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

Lol people and their game ratings.

I've been playing 18+ games since I was like 10 and I turned out alright.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

Well if your parents let you play those games when you were 10 then that's fine with me. But some other peoples parents won't let them play 18+ games.

mini/confused dude, the best games out there are rated M. You're acting like one of those game haters, like Jack Thompson.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

I beg to differ, while there are many games that are rated M and are good, the best games are not all M.

JK.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

Exactly, like the LEGO games, Super Mario Smash Bros BRAWL, Mario Kart (those are the only mario games that I REALLY like)

And there are many other E and T rated games that are great.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

You're missing the point. It's called MODERN WARFARE 2!. Or GTA IV.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

M games frustrate me. And, yes, I do agree that the best games are rated M.

GTA IV is rated M. Halo 3 is rated M. mini/confused  In GTA IV, you murder innocent people, kill cops, deal drugs, and hook up with prostitutes. In Halo 3, you defend the Earth from an alien race. Why are they both rated the same thing?
And if your parents won't let you play Halo 3 or Call of Duty, then I highly doubt they would let you play Mercenaries 2. Mercenaries 2 is a lot more violent than Halo 3 or Call of Duty.

Played the demos. Kinda boring compared to the more recent games.

Star Wars BattleFront 1/2

You're joking, right?

Battlefield 2 (First person, no blood, rated T)

I'll check it out.

Dude, I'm trying to help you out here. Really good games are usually rated M, so I'm suggesting moderate games instead of the extremely good ones. And of course the Jedi Knight games are going to be more boring than recent games! But have you found one of the more recent games that is rated T? It's like you are being extremely picky, "Too violent" "Too boring" "Too violent" "Too boring".

Anyways, another game that I HIGHLY recommend is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, that is if you have a good enough PC. Yes, it's rated M, but it's rated so for EXTREMELY dumb reasons. It was originally rated T, but got re-rated to M just because some idiot on the internet released a mod for it that makes it so you can play as a nude woman. There are nude mods for almost EVERY SINGLE game! Why rate this one based on downloadable content from un-official locations? Anyways, it's an action RPG that is amazing.

Your welcome.

My parents don't mind violence as much as blood/gore, so they might let me play M2. And I'm sorry, I'm just a really picky gamer. I really appreciate your help. A

What I meant by that was I thought you were joking about BF 1/2's existence. Thanks for trying to help!
