You have no idea how loud my "DO WANT" was. The awesome thing is, it's happening the day I'm planning to go down to GameCity (I live a bus ride away). I'm even willing to make a complete prat of myself and join in.

Also, they're having a huge live-action Crysis event in the main square a couple of days beforehand. Yes, you get to kick butt FPS style. Nottingham City Centre's going to be mental this year.

I was hoping someone would mention that! I'm a little worried though, according to IGN the terrain looks like crap, the menu navigation is a pain, and the team AI is really bad. But, hey, the critics aren't always right, right?

What do you guys think about the gameplay in SWTOT? I really liked it, but the lightsaber fighting was awful, as well as blaster deflection. I mean, when you struck another jedi/sith with a lightsaber, it doesn't hit the blade, it hits the handle, hand, or anywhere else but the blade. Almost the same with blaster deflection, except the bolt hits the blade more often. They should have made the gameplay like the way it was in the story clips. But then, only recently they have started to make games where you do more than just drop into a defensive crouch and slide every time you get hit. Batman:Arkham Asylum, for instance. You actually block the enemy's punch, and grab the guy's leg, and you can counter-attack.

Not that I can think of. You might be able to talk the parentals into allowing you to play the Halo games, as they should be rated T for sure. What blood there is is EXTREMELY minimal, the language is mild, and there are no sexual themes. Plus you only shoot aliens so yeah...
