Coraline

My second time seeing this film, and I still love it! Tim Burton made it 10xs more incredible than the book in my opinion, and the animation is undescribable. A MUST SEE FILM! mini/delirium

I know! I saw it a few Months ago! Tim Burton once again shows his great taste in Horror. mini/yes I just thought the concept, the story line, and the sickly sweetness of the other world was perfection. My favourite film!

NightOwl: How come it said by the makers of the Nightmare Before Christmas, which I'm almost certain was directed by Tim Burton.

I did a bit of research and Tim Burton did next-to-nothing on the film. "Coraline" was directed by Henry Selick, as was "The Nightmare Before Christmas." In that film he only produced, and in "Coraline" he didn't really even do that much. It was also based on the book written by Neil Gaimen (which I've read). Tim Burton really didn't do much at all.

Sorry for the confusion.

mini/rolleyes You're on the Internet. If you're only "almost" certain, you look it up.

Technically, they are right, since both were produced by Burton and directed by Selick, who should get so much more credit. It upsets me.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Actually, Tim Burton didn't even produce Coraline, he didn't have anything to do with the movie. Look it up. mini/tongue

Yeah, Kim is right.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Coraline was directed by Henry Sellick, Nightmare Before Christmas was 'Directed' by Tim Burton, but the animation was produced by Henry Sellick. However, Corpse Bride was entirely Burton. I believe that's how it goes?

No, Henry Sellick Directed Nightmare Before Christmas and Tim Burton produced the animation, because Tim Burton was busy at the time directing Batman. This is getting confusing, but I believe that's what happened. mini/tongue

Hellboy 1 & 2

I'm in love with Del Toro. The man is a genius.

Great first film, good sequel. Imaginative, fun action, and impressive action.

Fame

If I were a movie critic, I'd probably give it three stars due to lack of substance and there were about two long shots throughout the whole film, but I'm not, so I'll give it four because I really enjoyed it. mini/smile
