Just keep in mind that having the hardware means nothing if you haven't got the knowledge or skill to use it properly. Don't take that as an insult, it's just something to think about before going and spending a boatload of cash on new computer parts.
I have a bit weaker (altough Nvidea is a bit false in making ''''better'''' cards) card and it's good enough for high quality cgi (1600X1200) and my 2G RAM can run After Effects easly. BTW my Graphics Card is a G-force 9600GTX
Grr! I am sorry but Is this card good for AE Stuff too?
I have me some intel integrated graphics, so i'm practically using a piece of tuna for a graphics card.
