Oh man... Where do I start...
First of, I haven't been scared like this watching a movie in YEARS, I'm stil shaking![]()
Every scene was just... not boring. most of the time nothing happens, but you still sh*t your pants of out of scaredom.Spoiler (click to read)
And what the hell was the meaning of the guy in the bear costume sucking this geezer's !@#$ 0_O
the acting of course was amazing. Jack, olive (
) and Danny. I think I'm gonna theorize this movie for years.
This is by far my favoriet Kubrick film.I give it 5 twins out of 5.
I saw that movie at 23.00 when I was alone at home. My dad and brother were away and I had nothing better to do so I thought why not watch a movie? This was the worst decision I ever made. I had to stop in the middle of the movie because I was too scared. I saw the end the morning after. And it was still scary
.
I thought it wasn't THAT scary!
That means you don't have a soul.
Loft (2008)
they say this is the best flemish movie ever, and I must agree with them. The movie has high scores in most aspects. Story, cinematography, music. Acting was good but not that great. Definatly check this one out "none-flemish" people. If you like a good triller with a twist.
5/5 Loft keyes
King Kong (1933)
For way back then that movie wasn't that bad. But a lot of it looked fake.
The branch part was so shocking. (Everyone died except Jack and Carl)
King Kong (2005)
Woah. I was blown away by this movie. Three hours and I can sit through it still wanting more!?!??1! it's beyond awesome. The effects the suspense, HOLY CRAP I LOVE IT!
What a coincidence...
King Kong (2005)
Umm.... how to say this....
I was disappointed. I mean, it was big, huge, grandios, and a little bit... obese. It just wastn't a particularly enjoyable film. Everything seemed gratuitous, dragged out, and heavy. It could have been a really fun film, but I ended up checking the clock on my cell way too often.

Watch the original. THAT is style...

The Alamo (2004)
Great movie. I don't get why people rate this movie so low. My only little complaint is that it would have been better if they would have showed some background information of the Mexicans. I have to see the movie of the Alamo made in 1960 now.

I just saw The Informant! at the Toronto International film festival.
It was pretty hilarious, Matt Damon is awesome.
On Saturday I get to see the Imaginarium of Dr. Quack; the heath ledger thing.

Inglourious !@#$%^&*
Awesome film, in the style that only Quentin Tarantino can present. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Christoph Waltz was far and away the best character in the movie.
Just saw Inglorious B***erds
Only Tarantino can create scenes with so much shocking violence and still make them comical.
The ending was just brilliant, I'm drawring a blank on who played colonel Landa, but he did it so well, that I just hated him by the end.
Edit: Christoph Waltz played Landa, should've checked Mindgame's post first.

Muppet's Treasure Island
Hilarious, you can't beat the muppets. That Jim kid sounded and looked like a female. ![]()
9
Cool visuals, hollow characters and themes.

Taken
HOLY @$%# that was awesome.
The Island
Terrible acting, still loved it though. ![]()
The Soloist
That was a bit terrible. Had good intentions, but it didn't seem to work out as a film.
About to watch State of Play, should be a bit better?
Coraline
My second time seeing this film, and I still love it! Tim Burton made it 10xs more incredible than the book in my opinion, and the animation is undescribable. A MUST SEE FILM! ![]()
Jesus, Tim Burton didn't make Coraline. I was talking yesterday about how tired I am of people mindlessly assuming TIM BURTON!!!!1111 made a film because it vaguely looks like his style.
Yeah, also if you've seen it twice you should be able to know by now that Tim Burton was not really associated with it at all.
Oops, my bad ![]()
I've mainly heard things like that for the movie "9." Tim Burton did barely ANYTHING with that and people are saying "Oh, well that wasn't Tim Burton's best film he's made."
Sorry for that.
