Don't be fooled, my avatar is a facade of conformity.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Did you do that in Paint or Photoshop? The clouds don't look to good... (Remember you're meant to be able to recreate these shots if you were to use them in a movie, so you can't really use Paint or Photoshop). Also, there's far too much white at the bottom.

Nice concept, though.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I used GIMP to make it. not Paint or Photoshop.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Yeah, but it's the same principle. You couldn't use that technique in a real movie.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Oh dear, recreate into a film? Yeah, my picture was definitely edited in paint and couldn't be done like that mini/lol

Well, it was my first entry, I'll do it better next time mini/wink

Actually, you could. I know of some films that were edited in Photoshop - I use that technique too, because I don't own AfterEffects.

Anyway, I'm anxious to see the results on this!

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

The problem is that you couldn't animate a scene like that, becuase it would be almost impossible to make it look right between frames.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

You'd have to use cotton wool for the clouds, then it would work and probably look pretty good too.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Double post

Alright, I'm down for results now. Even though I wish more people made entries.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I was waiting for NOS, but it looks like nothing is coming... but there are some nice entries. Results will come tomorrow.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I may take part this time round. I haven't done it before. Hopefully it will be a good subject/theme.
