Topic: quickam 4000 on my macs istopmotion (problom)

i got a logitech quickam 4000 and im trying to use it on my istopmotion program for macintosh... but when i plug it in it says on the device menu that the only thing connected to the mac is iSight, i cant get it to get live feed but i worked when i first got it so i know it is possible, BTW i got it like a week ago

Did you install the camera drivers and software first?

yep thats how i access the gain settings and such but anyway yea its all installed

Well...  I don't even have a MAC, so... There are many Brickfilmers with MAC's, so wait for loads of posts.. I think...

I have a Mac, but not istopmotion, and I have the 9000, not the 4000, so...yeah. Can't help you.

if i have boot camp does that mean i can use the 9000 on my mac software (istopmotion) or only of,like, monkey jam

Bootcamp is essentially Windows on your mac, so no iStopmotion.

There is software that lets you run Windows simultaneously with Mac, so you could run both applications at the same time, but for extra cash.

I actually don't use bootcamp on my Mac, I use our DV camera on the Mac, and I use the 9000 for our second laptop, that is windows.
