You'll probably find that it involves programming... which is pretty hard if you're not a computer freak

BG, Blender isn't flash based. The Blender Game engine works only for 3d. It's not for making a 2d game like Fancypant's Adventures.
You'd need to know a good deal of ActionScript.
I use Flash 8, but I'm sure there are other free options.

Well, a good place to start would probably be by downloading the necessary software (which is expensive - my dad got it as part of Adobe CreativeSuite) and following the tutorials there.
Suck it CS3.
My friend (KWA) are making his own games and Video's in ''Flash'', They're quite good.
