Re: Bricksmith

Months?!?! That's a long time. I'll still try to figure it out though.

Re: Bricksmith

Blender can open LOTS of different files besides .3ds. What kind of file does Bricksmith export?

Bricksmith can only export .idr files, and Blender can't import those. I would like this solved also though, because I also have a mac, but if it came down to it I could also use our PC. I would like it solved though, for me and for Mutuceba.

Re: Bricksmith

WAIT I just found it
I am so happy now mini/bigsmile
OKay first find LDview and download it to your mac
I found LDview here http://anoved.net/category/lego/
then you import your bricksmith model then export it as a .stl file wich can then be imported into blender
HOOOOOOOORRRRAAAAAYYYY
................now to just figure out blender
*sigh*

Re: Bricksmith

Re: Bricksmith

Where did you learn
can you provide a tutorial

Re: Bricksmith

Well, I just learned it a few weeks ago, as a matter of fact, but I still know basically everything you can do in it, besides creating a game with the game engine. I could make a tutorial, but what kind of stuff do you want to learn? Water? Landscape? Mixing Tracks of stop motion and CGI?

Re: Bricksmith

Well, I guess then I'll make a tutorial on that, but first, to know how to do the water, look up Super3boy on youtube, and type in the keywords: Super3boy water blender tutorial, or something like that, and it shows you how to do that. It might take a while to make a tutorial though.
