Topic: Dark Bars
In my films, I'm getting these dark bars that move from frame to frame. I get the feeling these are caused by poor lighting, so is there any way to fix these in VirtualDub?

I dont know if you can make them go away in post prod., but I probably know how to erease these bars on youi camera. Just go into options and increase/decrease the exposure time, and I believe it should be fine in the future.
I'm currently using a "Logitech Quickcam Pro for Notebooks." (That's its old name. It's essentially a 9000.)
I have this problem on my new QCP 9000, and I can't find the exposure time. I can find the exposure, but, no exposure time ![]()
It didn't for me unfortunately...I really need to fix this for B.R.A.W.L though. Any other ideas?
Can you change the gain and shutter speed? My webcam does that if they are wrong.
Where is the shutter speed? And, mcoov, sorry for taking over your thread

Don't use 4 emotions. Use one.
Thank god, I thought this was one of those "how iz maek t3h widescreen 4 leggo muvveysz" threads.

The I think that the QCP9k and the QCPFN are different. I think the QCP9k is better than the QCPFN.

No, really, it's really annoying.
Thats funny, coming from you.
Btw, you fail at the Elite Member trick. [/offtopic]

K, I don't really care. I won't do it, for the sake of your guys' sanity. Anyways, were turning this thread into a spam fest. I think I've solved the problem, but In low light situations, it still does it. In a couple of shots for my B.R.A.W.L entry there is the bars, and it is so annoying. ![]()
OK, this thread was supposed to have died over two weeks ago. @Fib, if you do a side-by-side comparison of the two, there's only one thing the 9000 can do that the C905 can't.
Who? Me, if so, I did not mean to offend anyone. And, mcoov, it was still was on the front page. I bumped it because I needed help too. No use in making a new thread if there is one for it already made.
Well, did... Did you just double post, with the same info in...?
EDIT: Delete it! Nooaaauuugghh!
