Topic: Mlcad

I made my model in Mlcad, but I can't get it into LeoCad. Can someone tell me how to do this?

Re: Mlcad

Well, even though I'm new to digital legos, this was the easiest part for me to figure out. You just click File>>Save As>> and then choose your destination you want to save it to, for example, >>Desktop. You then open LeoCad (Remember to keep it in it's folder!!!! Otherwise it can't process the parts!!!!), go into File>>Open, and change the Files of Type (underneath File Name) to LDraw Files (*.dat;*.idr;*.mpd), and look in the Desktop in your file open, and then, once you find it, just click on it and then click open. Hope it helps!

P.S.- If that dosen't explain it, you can ask me to send you an email and I'll email a tutorial(without sound, to make the file smaller) of me opening it.

Re: Mlcad

Or you can save your model and drag it over Leocad (and let go of course). It'll open the model in it automatically. mini/bigsmile
