Topic: Encoding settings?

Hello, been an on and off brickfilmer for the past couple of years.

Anyways, as I'm not really versed in codec's and different compression settings, I was just hoping for some infomation on what is the best encoding setting to use.

I use a Quick cam 9000 and monkey jam to capture the images.

On monkey jam, I export the avi files then import them to Premiere Pro for edit.

From there, I've edited and pieced the movie together, now I'm just having a very hard time to find the right setting to encode the movie.

Any help would be great.

Re: Encoding settings?

H.264 is probably the best, especially if you are working with HD video.  And you barely loose any quality.
