Topic: ____ and ____ series ideas

ELLO BRICKFILMERS

im thinking of a series that is quite common among brickfilmers...
a series about two friends, in a house, doing funny things and living regular lives kinda like:

nathen wells's "alex and derrek"

ZachMG's "ben and andy"

and so on... i have the set (inside house set) and the two characters and once i get the LEGO City: Corner set http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.js … Id=3502266 ill get to finish the out side city set

all i need is an idea because i am currently waiting on my quickcam 4000 order for my macs istopmotion...

anyway i need an idea for an episode (pilot) for the series...

note: person one is a nice normal boy and person 2 is normal but a bit of a troublemaker...

once i have some decent ideas i can finally start planning out the first episodes before my camera comes through amazon...

It's not really a pilot though since there isn't a judge or anything to approve of the series.

I tried this once.... It's a little cliche.

How about you get a man and woman minifigure who are a couple, they have arguments and try to resolve them in crazy ways? That would be original and funny. mini/tongue

well first of all by pilot i mean a first episode, sorry about that and i think that if its a little cliche its ok as long as its funny and entertaining

Personaly, I don't think you should really do it.....A LOT of people do those now

But I think it would be fun to have like 1 guy with some abnormal life, like he's a doctor and you can have stories about people coming in or something, you can really go anywhere with the idea. But EVERYONE does those dynamic duo things now

yeah...everybody is doing "Dynamic duos" now...I think that you should make something different...and talking about series, while time ago I posted an Idea,but nobody responded. Looks like most of the people here cannot think to a lego series that is not a comic series, except to dark bounty.

Anyone can pick up two minifigs, call them Pete and Tony, and build a couch. You need to start with the idea for the story you want to tell and build from there. When you know what the story is going to be, that will tell you who needs to be in it and what sets you need to build.

It's not an answer to the question you're asking, but it's an answer to the question you should be asking.
