Why is it linked to a Logitech QuickCam E3500 Webcam? or is it the same camera?

Though this is obviously not as good as the 9000, I may check this out. The Boyle Brothers still use this cam, and their movies are more than passable in their picture quality.

£ is the British Pound, which I believe is equal to somewhere around two dollars.
