Hey, I'm just about to film a shot of a spacecraft floating down, and I was wondering how to animate some fog(cotton) as it lands. Do you guys know how to achieve this?
Or if you know any free effects program, that can do this, that would be gladly appreciated.
I edit with Sony Vegas 8 and animate with Stop Motion Pro 4 if that helps.

I can give you some video of custom made generated fog from Sony Vegas Pro. Just tell me how long you need it to be.
Well, to do it in Axogon Composer, All you really need to know is how to Green Screen in Axogon Composer. You make a video source, And you put your video on it. Then on track 2, You pick the folder "Sources" then you pick clouds. Then you key out the blue and render the video.

Is there any way to change the fog settings in it though? I got it to work, it's just that the fog is just the standard. It would be much better if I could customize it, so how would you customize it, if you can?
Maybe try clicking on the clouds source? I haven't tryed it in like for a while.
Ok, I tried that and it seemed to work fine.
