A Luxo Lamp.
go to your local Home Depot or Office Depot and pick up a couple of posable lamps that attach to the side of your desk and are in the 15$--30$ price range.
the ones that attach to the sides of your desk are better than the ones with the big bases because they give you more room to animate.
