Re: VdeoCoPilot.

No ! really thanks sean!

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

Oh sorry for the double post but how do I rotate it and flip it?

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

Using the rotate tool.

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

But you need something better than Movie Maker to do it.

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

Hello it's me cinzano; i forgot my original password any way does ae cs4 have the rotate tool?

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

What software are you using? I suggest you read some "getting started" tutorials before trying to dive right into full blown editing.

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

I have adobe master collection.

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

agreed i thought about getting final cut studio but then i learned stuff like that is to advanced for me
final cut studio was used to make the curious case of benjamin button, traitor and lots of other famous movies
if your willing to spend months learing it then yeah go for it but i suggest something less poweful and more friendly to use
i use fianl cut express and i still haven't mastered it

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

Adobe Premiere has a rotate tool, as well as a horizontal flip tool, as well as the ability to scale and position clips, and a metric ton of other useful features, more than enough to accomplish what you're suggesting. You could do it in After Effects as well, but if all we're talking is a muzzle flash or two I'm not sure it would be worth the effort. Keep in mind that having the software is only half the battle--you really need to take the time to read (or at least skim) the manuals and learn the basics if you're ever going to get anywhere. This particular effect is so simple I thought your original reply to Sean was sarcasm. But don't worry; if you put in the time, you've got everything you need to get great results.

EDIT: And you might want to PM Smeagol about getting your password back so you can use your original username. Save server space and all that, you know.

With all due respect Noodle, I don't want you here. - Ratboy Productions

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

No offence, but you really should at least learn some basic stuff before trying to tackle expensive and powerful software like what's in the Adobe suite.

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

My Mum works in a studio and anyway once you put a muzzle flash on the frame(s) it is one picture so how do you rotate i and flip it?

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

Cinzano, please read Beginner's Guide to Bricks in Motion, especially the sections on double posting. Also, have you tried trying to find your answer in the software website's own tutorials?

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

BertL yes I have looked at those and they are only for AE not AE2.

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

The basics still apply. What you're asking is some really really basic stuff, if you're still having trouble reading tutorials on simple things like flipping an object, perhaps you should ask your mother for help.

Re: VdeoCoPilot.

No i have not tried it yet but aren't the muzzle flashes 2d?
And you have to have AAE to run AE2 so ive added the effect in AAE CS4 and now it is all one frame so I don't think anyone understands what I'm saying ? mini/confused
It is also in the wrong position (rotated) ?
