What is the Best Video Format For YouTube?
Like something like AVI Or MP4.
They all work, there isn't really a "best format."
I use WMV. And, there is actually a best format according to youtube legoshark 
Eww, WMV is the most ridiculously antiquated format ever.
YouTube recommends MPEG but everyone I've heard from gets inferior results using that. I use h.264 with a .mov container, there is a tutorial on my channel for how to encode a video in h.264 for HD upload.
I've had great results with uploading in flash. Youtube uses the On2 flash codec to encode all their videos, why not simply upload it in the FLV On2 codec? It makes my video ready to view with a process time of like 2 or 3 minutes not the hours I would have to wait back in the day when I was uploading very very compressed XVID .AVIs.
