Colors scatter, filter and absorb light beams, but black reflects almost directly, as light is all colors and black is no colors. This is why black bricks are a problem for light flicker.

I have a tutorial on how to mask in GIMP, but you just keep saying the lighting changes when you move a minifig and I don't understand how this is a problem?
