Topic: Software for title/credits
I have been looking for a better program to make titles and credits
Other than Windows Movie Maker...
something thats a little more than "the basics" but also free.
Any suggestions? Thanks

You can always download new fonts and use them in WMM.
You can use Sony Vegas free for 30 days.

the only thing i can think of would be to make them out of bricks and then animate them like you would anything else
Movie Maker can do some title things, and it looks proffesional enough to get the film serious
You should paint them on a piece of glass and put them in front of your sets, that would be awesome.
Great idea, Sloth! I wanna try that...
GIMP, unless your title is moving; then you've gotta use something a bit more complicated.
You should just use a different film editor.
Try making the title in gimp and then add zoom effects or fade effects. Or try animating the title.
"iMovie's" are alright.
Bump.
Reading Mcoov's post I wondered would I be able to make titles and credits Using iMovie but still be able to edit on A PC?
And have the titles and credits in there?
Why dont you paint a background on gimp and Use Movie Maker to make the title. I do that and I think it looks very professional.:)
If you feel like splurging a little cash, I've seen great things done with Bluff Titler.
I think they have a free trial somewhere on the site.

That link didn't seem to work for me, but I googled it, and found this link, which has a direct link to a free trial
