Yes, I have seen the free software list. I just need to know what is the best for effects. I would also like to know which is easiest to use. free please.

i use all free programs and im pretty statisfided with the outcome.
For effects i would suggest WAX 2.0 and VirtualDub...
But i havent done any really extreme effects driven films yet. 
But thats my suggestion, I find both programs easy to use and theres lots of tutorials here and on youtube.
