Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I'm quite happy at how this came out.

I'm quite happy at how this came out.
I hate trying to replicate any of my bloody and creepy ideas in LEGO.
I'm the exact opposite.

It's nice to see the thread's back. I really like filmyguy's shot, that looks pretty cool.
I might enter next round. ![]()

I see people are still just showing violence in their images instead of portraying it through cinematography.
*sigh*
Some of them have really nice Cinematography Rsteenoven. The other ones, mehh, just don't care about them. ![]()

...meh.
I, too, see more theme-based shots than cinematography-based shots. What if the judge of each round gave some sort of grade scale to each shot based on the quality of the cinematography, does anyone think that might help?

Here you can see the other side of the stick.

Can I have some feedback on mine?
You did get feedback. Wait for the results.

Well, it's just the fact that I'm not good at it. ![]()
okay, it's been a week, time to judge filip.

I was expecting more with such a great theme, but you're right, filip should get judging.
Just Kidden: Finding something good is impossible in your picture. The clay blood is weird and the computer blood looks like crap. Put more time in making these entries, don't rush!
Sleuth5000: You need a new camera. It's too grainy! Also, the angle is so basic.
NOS: Looking back at what you have done before, I was expecting more. The whole picture is pretty boring.
NewRight: While looking at it in sepia, I feel the same way as MindGame. I have no idea what's going on. Without sepia I can see the laser, which I at first thought was a lamp or a window. I don't really know, but I don't like it very much.
Squash: While not knowing how it fits violence (I am stupid, I swear) it looks good. I can see an ARMY car, but I don't get it. plz explain 2 me! Cinematography wise it's good, and the set looks nice.
randomparrot: I like it. Placing the camera outside the window was a smart move, and it turned out good.
Timothy R: Great! I like the fact that you only used real LEGO bricks and not sfx's or clay, and it looks really good! The tilted camera is good, too.
Second place: Jimmybob
Awesome! The colors are really good, and this is probably one of the very few times that grain looks good. Please make a last brickfilm!
First place: Filmyguy
Like you didn't know it. I love it to 100%. The best thing is probably the broken window, which looks perfect. I would kill to see that effect in a brickfilm.
You're up, Filmyguy, make a theme!
Also, it's fun this thread is back in action again, and I'll try my best to create an entry this round!
Awesome! Theme coming soon. I must think about this one...
...must resist... ...gigantic CG set extension... ...can't hold on much longer...

this is a horrible theme.

I disagree; the "Violence" theme was horrible.
