Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I saw Angels & Demons this week

I think it isn't that worse as everyone says it is. It just isn't the same as the book.
The begin is very rushed, and looks like a CSI murder scene.
This film is way better than The Davinci Code tough. More story, more sensation, and less action.
Also, the film is more harsh than the previous one.

You sure he wasn't talking about the director?

You sure your parents weren't siblings?

Star Trek ...again... mini/smile
Okay so I took my brother who just got back from college to go see Star Trek since he had finals and an airplane ride home when it came out and I noticed that on the ice planet there's a "pet" tribble in a cage. I think it must have been spayed or neutered or whatever you'd do to a tribble.

I'm telling you, never take a job as a babysitter for a 8 and 6 year old girls that love highschool musical (please, i don't want to offend anybody) i've still got those stupid songs in my head....although i enjoyed the ending, when it was #*^'ing over.

Angels & Demons

It was definitely under-rated. I was thinking that one aspect of it was pretty predictable, than the twist just came outta nowhere, and I was bowled over. Let me just sum it up; I saw it, and I saw it was good.

Coraline

Wow. mini/eek Amazing.

WARNING: Slight spoilers throughout.

However, I really think this should have been rated PG-13, as it's definitely not for kids. I mean, it was a quite creepy, and dealt with more mature things such as kids dying and their souls being eternally locked in some type of hell, and then you also have two elderly ladies dancing practically naked with oversized breasts bulging. Not really what I call "family friendly".

I thoroughly enjoyed this film, and the Stop-motion animation inspired me greatly. Not for kids, but hey, I ain't no kid mini/wink

Overall a 5/5

What the heck was that about? I laughed at how stupid it was! mini/lol
Night At The Meuseum
Why does it feel like this idea has been made into a movie before?
I mean, I like it, it just feels unorigional.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Wow, what a horrible movie.

There were so many plot holes it wasn't even funny.
The only difference between this and the comic, was that wolverine had claws coming out of his hand. In all the ways they could have changed the storyline they did it in the most horrible way.

Good job b-tards, you've ruined my childhood.

It got a high PG rating, almost made it to PG-13.

I seriously hate those adults complaining about how scary the movie was for their 5 year-old kids when the rating was PG, not G in the first place. They should have done some research.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Funny movie. I liked it.

Schindler's List

mini/eek Wow. This movie needs no description other than this: mini/sad

I am ready for Inglourious B****** to come out.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I really need to see that. It feels like a duty.

Permanent Vacation

The beginning of my personal Jim Jarmusch marathon. I thought it was very bizarre, but entertaining. There are some gorgeous shots in it.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Have you not seen Schindler's List yet? Do so. Now.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Trust me, I will, but right now I intend to focus on Jarmusch films, since there's a retrospective of his work going on here.

I was at a lecture given by Janusz Kaminski, and he showed a clip from it on the big screen; I was quite awestruck.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Angels & Demons

The Da Vinci Code was horrible and I expected nothing more of Angels & Demons, but to my suprise I sat through whole the movie.

I just got Stranger then Paradise in the mail and watched Permanent Vacation, I think I'll be getting Night on Earth in the mail from Netflix today, I wouldn't call this a Jim Jarmusch marathon, but it's pretty close.

I was going to watch Stranger Than Paradise on DVD but then discovered that it's showing in a theater on Saturday. This coming week should be pretty nice for me in terms of movies; aside from the aforementioned film, Blood Simple, Coffee and Cigarettes, Taxi Driver, and A Woman Under the Influence are all showing somewhere or another.

Night on Earth is pretty amazing; I love it.
