I'm very opposed to the new channel design. Not only is it annoying to get around (if I want to look at the first video posted, I have to wait for all of them first), but it's especially going to affect partners, as they don't show any adverts on the featured video.
Or rate....
If you want to open it on a separate page, you have to open it in a new window. That's annoying.
