I'm sorry but theme isn't that great.

I got way more inspiration from the Steinerei theme than I did from this.

Re: BiM 2009: STAR [CLOSED]

I found a piece of music I want to use(Lonesome Tree), but don't know if it's in the public domain. The composer wrote it before modern copyright laws were passed, and he has been dead for 33 years. The problem is that it was used in an old T.V. made in the 60's that used to be in syndication, but has now disappeared. Some help? mini/confused

Much thanks.

GET DA BOOM MICROPHONE OUT OV MA FAAAACCCEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: BiM 2009: STAR [CLOSED]

My guess is that music from a 1960s TV show would still be under copyright, but I'm not completely familiar with copyright law in every country so I can't say that conclusively.

Maybe you could get someone to write similar-sounding music for you?

I don't think 33 years is long enough. You should search for the song on one of the many public domain sites, like:
http://www.publicdomain4u.com/

A song normally goes into the public domain after 75 years since the first copyright protection or 100 years after the recognized creation date.
