WHY DO THEY HAVE TO END IT NOWW???
Am I the only one who noticed that Jacob was wearing white and his antagonist was wearing black?
Wow, what a cliffhanger. That was probably the best one since Season 1. Throw in john Locke's body and the death of Jacob...wow.
Also, I'm really digging the new black-on-white titles instead of the white-on-black. Something's really eerie about it.
The conversation at the beginning basically implies that Jacob continuously brings people to the island in the hopes of the "end", which would presumably happen at the end of the series.
When that one girl asks "what lies in the shadow of the statue?" Richard says in Latin, "he who will save us all."
I wonder who's coming.
Did anybody ever notice that in every orientation video Dr. Chang has a different name?
Marvin Candle -> The Swan Orientation
Mark Wickmund -> The Pearl Orientation
Edgar Hallowax -> The Orchid Orientation
And Pierre Chang is his current name... probably his first name, since none of the stations were completed when he went by Dr. Chang.
I believe Pierre Chang is his real name. All the others are pseudonyms made for the videos, and are related to candles.
My guess is that the original timeline was wiped away at the end of this season. So the comic-con video could have been in the original timeline, as could Rose & Bernard as the skeletons in the cave from Season 1, but they wouldn't be anymore. Unless the core of the H-bomb wasn't actually enough to decimate the entire island, I'd think it would do that kind of damage though. If they really do open next season with flight 815 landing safely at LAX , it'll be interesting to see what they do about all the cast members who have been written out of the show since the first season.
