Topic: Designing a Torso.

Does anyone know how to design a minifig's torso?
You know, like the Spirit Stomper's torso by Captain Bulldog?
I need to design a World War I British uniform and a modern day US uniform for a brickfilm.

Please help.

Re: Designing a Torso.

Just print one out then stick it on, using a template.

Re: Designing a Torso.

Wait, so I design my own using a template and stick it on?
I don't get it. mini/sad

Re: Designing a Torso.

Well thats how I'd do it, Print it onto white paper or special sticker paper then cut it out and stick it on. I do it sometimes for things on my set but I imagine it would work on minifigs.

Re: Designing a Torso.

So let me get this straight,

1. get template.

2. design on template

3. print and stick.

Right?

Re: Designing a Torso.

1. Get template
2. Design torso onto template
3. Print it onto sticker paper or normal paper.
4. Cut it out.
5. Stick.

Re: Designing a Torso.

How do you design the torso?

Re: Designing a Torso.

What do you mean how? You take the template and stick it in photoshop, then start making your design on it.

Re: Designing a Torso.

What I meant was what tools in the program do you use?

Dude....

It's design. Art. It's easy for some people, hard for others.

Re: Designing a Torso.

1) Take the Torso
2) Rub it with Brasso
3) Stick on your decals

Re: Designing a Torso.

I've done this many times, the way I do it is get some white office labels, take the arms off a fig, trace it, draw ont it, cut it out and stick it on. mini/smile
