Re: BiM 2009: STAR [CLOSED]
Well, this is my entry, I don't know if I should redo it all? or what?

I understand, but I need others opinions.
Imo, redo it if you think you can do better and if you know you'll have enough time to finish the rest of your movie. If not, keep it.
I just don't have voice actors, and I'm afraid it won't fit into the actual film. ![]()
Get your friends/parents/brothers/dog/sisters to do a voice.
I'll probably have problems getting voice actors too, though my script is still being written and/or changed. I like to do everything alone but my voice acting skills aren't that great. ![]()
You still have 3 months though. ![]()
If you must, just record yourself saying the lines at the speed and such that you want, not necessarily with the right voice, until you get people to do the voices for you. Like that, you'll know how much time everything will take up, and you can get started before the final lines are recorded.
Just a quick Quizzie. ![]()
Are we allowed to publicly release a trailer for our entry before the deadline?

Yes, although I hoped to maybe organize a small trailer challenge for entrants, where they can release their trailers for a given deadline. Probably fairly close to the deadline for the finished films. There probably wouldn't be prizes or anything, though, so it would just be for fun.
I like that idea, but maybe for a smaller prize? Also, if so, it should be on the quality, not the visual words

That's a great idea. It should be based on a few things imo though. Quality, how well it sets a mood and how interested it makes the viewer (how likely the viewer is to watch your movie after watching your trailer).
Instead of prizes there could be public voting. ![]()
I finished the script, excellent. The Casting Call is now up.
YEAH I have my script finised.

Please announce when this is to be done, because, I`m eager to do this.
Whats the point...We never see who wins!

I'm not sure what you mean. The first official BricksInMotion contest, TEC, had greatly delayed results because my predecessor organized it then abandoned it because he didn't like the entries, but I finished the judging for that contest recently once I had the chance. STAR should be judged in a much more timely manner.
